I just had two weeks off, like, completely, for spring break, which was nice but this week is when everything is happening, of course.

Monday. Ok. Nothing is going on today except tap class tonight and some preventative laundry.

Tuesday. Going to work again! Yay! I also have to pack for:

Wednesday: Going to Vancouver for Kwantlen’s fashion show. This, of course, had to happen the week just after I had all that time off. It’s ok though because I don’t work again until Sat, so I’m going to stay until Friday and go shoe shopping, to the art gallery, and whatever else I feel like.

Sunday: I might be working Sunday but I don’t know at this point since the schedule hadn’t been made up that far in advance when I left for Spring Break.

I’ve started doing my barre exercises to “Cut Chemist” and they go very well for the most part. I hooked my speakers back up to my computer so I can hear music in the outside world again, not just in my headphones.

I’m twenty-something, Feebs! TWENTY-SOMETHING!

Now it’s my birthday in Newfoundland, as well!

It’s already March 23 in Japan. This means…

JAPANESE PRESENTS!

I need a bumper sticker that says something like “Leave me alone! I’m doing art!” to put on…. I’d like to say on my bum, but then no one would see it if I was sitting down. On my forehead, maybe, so I could look at anyone with a menacing glare if they disturbed me. Funny! Although perhaps I need to work on my social skills.

Perhaps not!

I have the song from the Shaw ad in my head. The ad with all the people dressed in white? With the guy playing a white piano? So cute. I like that ad. And the song, apparently. Um. I don’t really feel like finding it on line right now. If you want to see it, just watch cable TV.

Weight: 140ish (more maybe due to guacamole and chips)
I need to find something to do tonight while I watch TV because I want to watch Bridgit Jones 2, which I haven’t seen, although it was on literally every channel all this past weekend.
Days until birthday: 23-19=4
There is a button on my keyboard with a little calculator on it and if I press it, the calculator application on my computer pops up! I like this button a lot for the days when I can’t do maths in my own head. (Which isn’t everyday.)

I took some digital photos of my paintings. I hate hate hate photographing my art work. It’s just a pain, I have nothing wrong with the practice of it or anything. The practice of it is quite useful, actually, for showing off one’s work, for example, or for when one wants to use the canvas board for another painting, for another example. I will figure out how to use FTP again and put them on my web page. They can be found at puddlelilies.com/art.html

White embroidery thread, when it’s all waxed up, just looks like dental floss.

*sigh*

Only it’s thicker. And dental floss doesn’t have that nice, beeswax flavour.

Incomplete Memory

Of an art show. During Camosun, maybe. There was a lower level and down there was something to do with clothing, a clothes line. I don’t remember if Juanita was there or if the clothes line made me think of her. Ricky had wine.

Total Edit: It was during Camosun, but it was when I went with Kimberly to the year end show for the Art Education program at UVic! It was a lovely spring evening. And after, we picked up her art projects for the year to bring home (including a paper mache dragon!)

I don’t know where the Ricky wine thing came from. Maybe another memory.
