Month: February 2007

  • I watched some dancing tonight. It was all blue and lovely. This was, of course, instead of going to dance class, which was cancelled, and which I am Quite Vexed about. (In jest! In jest!)

I desire something tasty and non-sugary for a snack. This probably means I have to make something myself. Shoo!

I tried learning HTML (again) today but I got distracted by the internet. I was tired then and so I had a nap. Now I am awake (-ish?)

I work tomorrow and Friday. And Saturday? Sunday? Hoo! I don’t know.

  • I feel like I’m coming out of hibernation. This has occurred a couple times in the past weeks, and only on days when it’s sunny.

I cleared off my desk and found a laptop. One reason why it would be a bad idea for me to have a laptop.

There is no February “Tiny String” because I Hate February.

  • I now have “Hit me baby one more time” in my head. I should stop watching television and using the internet for a few days as punishment for paying too much attention to Britney Spears. But thank goodness for all of these media outlets for keeping me, literally, up to date. “Thank goodness” is all I can say.

I have another binary week. (0=no work, 1=work)

    Thu: 1
    Fri: 0
    Sat: 1
    Sun: 1
    Mon: 0
    Tue: 1
    Wed: 0

My schedule is sending me a secret message!

  • I totally got a gmail email address today. Because they let me without an invite finally? I had fun setting it up and setting up the Google personal page. So much less pretty than hotmail, but so many more goodies and so very Not Hotmail, which was the point.

Speaking of Microsoft, I’m getting Vista in the mail as soon as they ship it. I’m not going to install it, however, because everyone here says I don’t have to.

Conclusion: I’ve been watching too many people parodying Rex Murphy so that now whenever I see the real Rex Murphy talk I just start laughing. This affliction doesn’t affect his newspaper articles, though. I still can’t read those, due to large words and difficult sentence contexts.

  • I really like this story. I don’t know why. Maybe the extremeness of it. Maybe because it’s very funny. Or is it sad? Who knows!

  • When I add a “b” to the word “bible” I come up with the word “bibble” which makes me laugh and glad that I am capable of typos. Even though this occurred when I was hand writing.

  • Grape Report
Last week the grapes were green and the size of apples. This week they are purple and more like the grapes one might find on a coffee table when you pick them up someone says “don’t eat those, they’re wax!” But I had one and they were food.

    Song Report
I have the song “A Little Fall of Rain” from Les Miz in my head. It is gross and sad and annoying especially because I can’t get the harmony right.

  • I was spinning in my chair too much or something at work. Now I’m dizzy.

    Sorry I’m not more profound.

  • The movie “Jezebel” is on the TV behind me because the batteries in the remote control ran out and I can’t turn the TV off. I’ve seen this movie before, with Bette Davis that she had her studio make around her when Selznik wouldn’t let her be Scarlet O’Hara. This scene, where Bette is trying to wear an inappropriate dress to the ball is parallel– but better because then she takes of the dress she is wearing so we can see the cage underneath. Too cool.
